After years working inside federal departments, Crown corporations, and private enterprises (managing incidents for 90,000 users, building ServiceNow workflows, running technology procurements, and leading IT operations teams) I saw the same pattern repeat: large consultancies charging premium rates while staffing projects with junior resources who needed constant hand-holding.
